The Commodore's Campaign » Donate Online
Donations to the Commodore's Campaign allows the association to place the funds into the area of greatest need. It allows for considerable flexibility in furthering the mission of paddlesports education, stewardship, recreation and competition. The title, Commodore's Campaign, has historic meaning as it honors those who have served the ACA and paddlesports over the past century.
This fund helps the ACA to maintain the "gold standard" for paddlesports education. From the National Paddlesports Instruction Program to a range of video's, brochures, posters and other educational materials, the ACA is the authoritative resource when it comes to paddlesports safety education and instruction.
Donations to this fund are utilized exclusively to work on issues related to the Stewardship of paddling venues. From fighting for clean water to advocating for appropriate access to that clean water, the ACA's Stewardship Department works diligently on behalf of all paddlers.
This fund allows the ACA to continue to support competitive paddlesports races as well as competitive youth development programs across the country. From the collegiate race series to wildwater, slalom, downriver, poling, canoe sailing and freestyle, the ACA understands the value of how competition helps foster an active, healthy outdoor lifestyle.
Funds donated to the ACA's Adaptive Paddling Program are dedicated to the advancement of creating opportunities for paddlers of all abilities. Whether it is access, specialized equipment, or targeted educational outreach, the ACA is committed to providing programs and resources for all paddlers.
This fund is dedicated to promoting the art and grace of FreeStyle Canoeing. FreeStyle canoeing is the “art and science” of quietwater paddling and emphasizes smooth, efficient flatwater paddling and precision boat control. The FreeStyle Canoeing Committee is an ACA National Activity Committee whose purpose is to promote FreeStyle canoeing as a convenient lifestyle sport and encourage its growth through the development of recreational and educational programs.
Sugar Island - 'Chick' Dermond Memorial Fund » Donate Online
Donations to this memorial fund will be dedicated to the continued preservation of Sugar Island. Sugar is a 35 acre island located in the heart of the Ten Thousand Islands which is an international tourism destination near the St. Lawrence Islands National Park. The ACA is committed to honoring the legacy of Russell 'Chick' Dermond, an ACA Legend of Paddling award recipient and lifetime supporter of Sugar Island and the ACA.

The IWHoF is a program of the ACA and its International Paddlesports Partners. The ACA is proud to support these whitewater Advocates, Champions, Explorers and Pioneers. IWHOF recognizes and honors individuals who have made significant contributions to whitewater related activities. To date, 39 honorees have been inducted into the Hall of Fame since the first class was inducted in 2005.
