Outfitter, Livery & Guide Insurance Program

As one of numerous member benefits, the ACA is offering partial or comprehensive insurance for paddlesport outfitters, liveries, and guides. By meeting certain criteria, you will be eligible for discounted pricing on your various insurance policies. In addition, proceeds from utilizing this insurance program will benefit paddlers as they will be used to support the ACA's mission of improving education, stewardship, recreation and competition for all.

  • General liability
  • Umbrella
  • Commercial auto liability, excess
  • Property (building and contents)
  • Inland marine equipment (for insured and customers personal property equipment)
  • Workers compensation
  • Directors and officers liability
  • Employment practices liability
  • Special event liability
  • Monoline liability
  • Liquor legal liability

 

 

Process Overview:

  1. Be or become an ACA Outfitter, Livery & Guide Member, or other approved membership type
  2. Review the ACA Outfitter, Livery & Guide Insurance Program Criteria and Risk Management Agreement
  3. Submit (online, by email or via mail) to the ACA National Office:
    • The Outfitter, Livery & Guide Insurance Program Application
    • A signed copy of the Outfitter, Livery & Guide Insurance Program Criteria and Risk Management Agreement
  4. Upon ACA review and approval:
    • Work with the ACA endorsed insurance broker, to customize your specific or comprehensive insurance policy
  5. A percentage of your premium will benefit the ACA in its support of paddlesports education, stewardship, recreation and competition
